What to find in Ion

Art by Sharkimi
Aizer is the place where Ice Nyanarrs evolved from Water Nyanarrs. It's a cold place with many mountains and fields where nothing but snow can be seen.
Two towns and two villages can be found here.
Pethes and Giwii are those towns - Giwii is the home of many Air Nyanarrs as this is where they formed. Near Pethes, a small unnamed village appears to be. It's mostly kept in secret and Gaidinians sometimes don't even know it exists. Are some kinds of experiments created there? Who knows.
Sezda is the other village known in Aizer.
The highest mountains of Gaidinia - Skyer - can be also found there.

The “capital city” of Overade. It’s one of the biggest cities in all of Gaidinia, harboring a huge population of Gaidinians. Often nicknamed the fashion capital, Miwai is well known for its modern architecture that frequently unitizes a lot of glass. Its citizens have the reputation of having an open-mind towards new things and people. It’s said that Kealeth loves to secretly visit the city and see how full of life it is. She doesn’t always bring along her Kemuchiis, who are left wondering about her whereabouts. They always try to find the goddess where she should be, to no avail.
The highest mountains of Gaidinia. It's said that hundreds of dragons live there.
The sky of Skyer is always letting the moon appear, even though the night hours are still far away from their time. Gaidinians say that it is Zana who lets it happen and many believe this means Skyer is where Zana lived before rallying the new gods and defeating the old ones. Who knows, this might be true, as the sky of Skyer is higher than the sky elsewhere, protected by the lost spirits and the majestic dragons.
Another legend is known to Gaidinians - a hidden kingdom inside the mountains - a wealthy kingdom full of gold and lost treasures, ruled by a Light Nyanarr. Many don't believe the legend, as they were unable to find the kingdom yet, even though Gaidinians have tried since thousands of years ago.

- Caverns run through the mountains, some being lined with gemstones. One in particular is said to light up like the night sky due to a crystal clear lake that is inside the cavern. (credit: ChillySkies)
- Akin to the caverns, there are almost monolith crystals that protrude through some of the steeps of the mountain. They are told to be markers from the gods themselves. (credit: ChillySkies)
- The wildlife can also be crystallized, some having them grow from them in natural areas or as structures from their back etc.

- Aizer is said to be one of the most hostile places of Gaidinia but even so, many Gaidinians still live there, although Skyer itself is not populated by any humanoid species.
- One of the Skyer caverns used to be Vas' hideout during the war. It's said that Vas is not the only deity using the dangerous location to hide. Although the New Gods have no reason to do so anymore, what about the Old Gods?
- A rare to find and harder to get magical ingredient. It is whispered that there is a place somewhere in the Skyer mountains that glitters like a pale rainbow when the full moonlight touches it. It is a quiet and lonely place that gives very creepy vibes but the rumor is that if you collect snow from this area beneath the light of a full moon, it will never melt. It is highly sought after by witches and even Light Nyanarrs find it to be incredibly beautiful and valuable because it continues to glow in rainbow hues. (credit: Otaru)
- The highest peak of the Skyer mountains was once a volcano, twin to Aditone, but although it has long since been inactive there are still some very good heated pools- some of them on the lower end of the mountains has been turned into tourist attractions.

- Some of the Skyer mountains once used to be floating. They're not anymore but this is once again something that connects Skyer and Aditone.

Skyer

Vrch Shine
Vrch Shine is known for being the highest mountain. It is said that if you make it to the top, you will find a shrine from the gods and whoever you worship the most will appear and grant you a gift. However, nobody knows how many people have made it up to the top, or if the shrine even exists. There is a legend of a Kyanarr who could control both air and water, who was able to make it to the top by not letting themselves suffocate and drawing water from the air so they didn't dehydrate. Once they reached the top, they were granted the gift of immortality. However, anyone who has tried to go up the mountain only finds the bones of other Gaidinians who have tried, and they shortly run out of air, and have to go back.

That's not the only thing that makes it notable. No, what the locals whisper about in hushed tones, eyes glancing around as if worried about which gods might witness them, are the spirits. Not quite lost loved ones or ghosts of the past - what hovers are.. banished spirits, energies from times long ago that hover. Most of them are neutral, really, indifferent to the comings and goings of any one Gaidinian, but some of them.. Malicious. Angry and warped, they shift from pathway to pathway, preying on any being foolish enough to brave the pathways without the proper lanterns, the proper blessings from proper gods, whispering cruel truths in their ears, ghostly lips warped in scowls. It's a legend that if you go deep enough, you might go mad, might lose yourself in the truth of the spirits that leave the plantlife growing so wild.
