Glarhia is mostly a forest - not many Gaidinians live there. It's known as a dangerous place to everyone on the planet. The swamps can swallow you whole - and so do many creatures living in this part of the world. The magic is strong in Glarhia and it's popular place for the Magic Kemuchiis who seek to expand their knowledge - or perhaps find The Witch.

Glarhia can be beautiful, but the beauty can eat your body and your soul.

Glarhia

texturee2_edited.png

A creature that cannot be found anywhere besides the Glarhian swamps. It only eats the algae that's appearing in the water. Some say that Auky cannot feel happiness or sadness, even pain. But once you look at the creature, you can't help but become a little bit happier - just look at the cute little face! They're actually very small and an adult Auka can fit into one's palm. A baby Auka is as small as a coin.

Auka (pl. Auky)

Fialoven (pl. Fialovene)

Purple trees that smell like lemons, and grow poisonous fruit called "Fiala(s)". There is, however, a way to pickle these fruits and neutralise the poison and once that happens, they taste like combination between plums and strawberries. Gaidinians eat them during March because the "de-poisoning" takes 6-7 months and the fruit is usually collected in August.

- No one knows the opinion of Khai, The Deity of Magic, about the place. Is her magic stronger here? Or does she simply not care?
- The Glowing Trees are silent, peaceful, great for relaxing. Amarlya, The Deity of Art, loves to just sit there and draw. Easy to stay calm when you're an immortal deity, huh?
- Glarhia was visited by A Team of Gaidinians in the November 2020 to find the Pillow of Vas - The Deity of War. The Team was led by Kimi the Kyome.

- Those who wish to move from Kithiria to Zhrugh - or the other way around - must go through Glarhia. It's considered one of the most dangerous roads and many prefer to simply not go there - or try to find another, maybe even longer way.

- The magic of Glarhia is known to appear in these colors: blue, green, purple. No other magic colors have been found so far. Even the sorcerers with different magic colors tend to have their aura changed.

Interesting facts

Caves as old as the time - that's what the people of Glarhia say! While they are old indeed, the caves seem to have appeared in the last 10 000s of years. Definitely old, just not as old as the time! Well - at least not the old Time gods were.

They're currently mostly empty - except for a few of the more accessible ones where you can meet a Gaidinian or two - maybe even a Med!

They might not look so, but many of the caves are quite deep and huge inside.

The ancient caves

The Witch's seat

The Witch is supposedly a very dangerous entity. They live in a small cottage near one of the Glarhian swamps - the place is protected by a strong magic. Some legends say that The Witch is not a one person, no. It's a title. Once The Witch leaves the place, another must take their place. What's that for? No one really knows - perhaps The Witch has to protect Glarhia from an unknown dangerous force.

Unlike The Ancient Caves, The Glowing Trees ARE as old as the time itself! The Trees are kind of a living being, breathing, dreaming.
So why are they glowing? It's an old legend. Most Gaidinians don't even know about it - unless they are from Glarhia or nearby places. A creature, similar to unicorn, was living there thousands of years ago. It was tall and majestic, one of the most beautiful creatures in Gaidinia. Many of the old gods wanted to own it. To prove their greatness and to prove their power. But as beautiful as it was, the equine was also really proud and clever. It was able to protect itself from every god that wanted to tame it. The gods have decided that they have had enough - no being should resist the great gods! They went for a hunt, not to tame it but to kill it this time. Oh, what a poor animal. Luckily for it, will-o'-the-wisps who lived in Glarhia were too nice to let it die, so they hid the creature behind the trees. The gods would be still able to find it, of course, that's why thousands or millions of will-o'-wisps merged themselves with the trees - to blind the gods and protect the creature. It's said that the equine is still living there, keeping its eyes on the glowing trees, talking with the faes that saved his life.
